Fundraising for Melanoma Institute Australia is a great way to support our mission to prevent and cure melanoma... and have fun while you're doing it. You may like to fundraise online and/or within your community.

Fundraising in your community

1. Choose a fundraising activity

Whether it’s a gold coin donation at your workplace, a barbecue, a trivia night or football match, we can support your idea. Have a look at some fundraising ideas to inspire you.

If you’re stuck for inspiration, give us a call! We would love to help you think of a fundraiser that will suit your skills and social group. You may also like to join us at Melanoma March or for National Shade Day, our annual awareness and fundraising day taking place in September each year.

2. Complete the fundraising application form

Make sure you download and complete our Fundraising Guidelines and Application Form and send to us. 

3. Start fundraising!

Once your fundraising activity has been approved by us we'll send you a fundraising approval letter. If you would like some marketing material for your fundraising event, just let us know. Then you may begin your fundraising!

Because Australia has the highest incidence of melanoma in the world, with more than 12,500 cases diagnosed each year - it's the single most powerful thing you can do to help us in the fight against melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer.

All funds raised contributes to our world-leading research, treatment and education. Your support will really make a difference.
