Melanoma Institute Australia conducts a surgically-oriented tutorial program open to medical students from all years, clinical schools and universities. Students may simply attend at any time - there is no need to register.
The tutorial program is designed to provide additional experience across a broad range of surgical topics. These include, but are not limited to skin tumours, sarcoma, breast cancer, head and neck oncology, and the broad principles of surgical oncology based on the diverse experience of the Institute’s clinicians.
Venue: Reg Richardson Auditorium, Level 1, The Poche Centre, 40 Rocklands Road, North Sydney.
Time: The tutorials run from 5:15pm to 6:15pm every Tuesday
The tutorials are open to medical students from all years, clinical schools and universities. There is no need to register, students may simply attend at any time. To receive updates on the topics, "like" us on our Facebook page.
Seminars are interactive and consist of a conference style tutorial followed by illustrative case discussions.
This optional program operates independently of the curricula of the various medical schools and is conceived to provide additional experience in surgery and surgical oncology, especially (but not exclusively) for students with a potential vocational interest in surgery.
