Australian study finds sunbeds can greatly increase the risk of melanoma

A landmark Australian study has found that use of sun beds by young people aged 18 to 39 years increased their risk of developing melanoma by an average 41 per cent.

Australia leads the world in fight against melanoma with the opening of the new Poche Centre

The Poche Centre, the new home of Melanoma Institute Australia, will be officially opened today by Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, Governor of NSW and Chancellor of The University of Sydney at the Mater Hospital Campus in North Sydney.
