Donating products and services is another invaluable and generous way businesses can support us. Gifts-in-kind free up money to be spent directly on research, treatment and education. This enables to save in operating costs so that more funds can go to preventing and curing melanoma.

Gifts-in-kind are regularly required for auction items or to support fundraising events. Any gift large or small is welcome. Some examples include:

• Home entertainment goods such as televisions, DVD players, Ipods
• Travel goods – flights and accommodation
• Shopping and service vouchers
• Tickets to sporting and entertainment events
• Unique sporting memorabilia
• Catering support for fundraising events
• Venues for fundraising events
• One-off opportunities eg a boardroom lunch with your CEO
• Rare artwork

We also welcome pro-bono services to help offset our fundraising and marketing costs. Some suggestions are:

• Printing costs
• Office equipment  
• Graphic design
• Advertising space and air time
• Video production

Gifts-in-kind may still be tax-deductible as donations  to Melanoma Institute Australia however, gifts of these types may be subject to different ATO tax rulings and each gift is accepted and considered with this in mind.
