Melanoma Institute Australia's Conjoint Medical Director, Professor Richard Scolyer, joined a 'living legend of Harvard', Clinical Professor Martin Mihm, in delivering a series of lectures at the world's largest annual meeting of pathologists in Vancouver.

Some 6,500 pathologists from over 70 different countries attended last week's United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) Annual Meeting to gain an insight into contemporary pathology education from around the world. Professors Scolyer and Mihm presented a short course on Melanocytic Lesions.

"Martin Mihm has worked at Harvard for over 50 years and has been involved in many major advances in melanoma diagnosis and treatment during that time," Professor Scolyer said. "It was an honour to be presenting alongside him, sharing knowledge and helping educate the world's leading pathologists about the latest melanoma research."
